Evaporative cooling works by pushing the hot air out of your home, so the temperature inside is much cooler.

In general, instantaneous hot water systems tend to be more efficient and cost effective. They heat while you use them, as opposed to standard storage tanks which constantly heat the entire tank’s worth of water.
Although more expensive initially, solar hot water is also a great investment. It allows the energy for heating to come from the sun, which can essentially reduce your summer gas and electricity hot water bills to zero.
